Chloe Martin - Teacher in Charge, DSL and SENCO
With over a decade of experience in education, Chloe brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Teacher in Charge. After earning her degree in Early Childhood Studies and completing a PGCE with a 3–7 specialism, she developed a profound understanding of EYFS provision—a foundation that remains vital to her work in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH). Since transitioning to SEMH provision in 2019, Chloe has qualified as a SENCO and spent six years in middle leadership, driving inclusive practices. She is deeply committed to removing emotional barriers to learning, ensuring every pupil has the support needed to reach their full potential. Chloe is particularly passionate about literacy development and advocating for the best possible outcomes for every child.

Joanne Taylor - Teacher
With five years of dedicated teaching experience, Joanne brings a multifaceted academic background to our SEMH provision. After beginning her journey with a foundation degree in Primary Teaching and a degree in Childhood and Youth, she earned a certificate in Health and Social Care, which provided her with a unique perspective at the intersection of wellbeing and education. Following the completion of her PGCE with a 3–7 specialism, Joanne has focused on creating a nurturing environment that addresses the complex needs of her pupils. As a Designated Safeguarding Lead, she is steadfast in her commitment to student safety and welfare. She is currently further expanding her expertise by working toward her SENCO qualification, ensuring that inclusive practice is at the heart of her classroom. Joanne is particularly passionate about making History and Religious Education accessible and engaging, using these subjects to help pupils explore identity, culture, and the world around them.
